My ABC's of Parenting

I decided to sum up my parenting experience by using the alphabet. Although these may suit everyone, this list is something personal to me. 

One year ago today

Exactly one year ago today was my due date. I'm a bit hazy with the details but I remember becoming quiet anxious on the day. My previous 2 daughters had come the day before her due date and on her due date which made me believe that this one would be similar.

Our Summer To Do List

With the summer holidays approaching, I've written a "To Do" list that I am to tick off throughout the school break. This being our first summer holidays, I will cherish every moment with T at home before she starts full time in September. 

I have taken inspiration from Becky (The Mummy Adventure) following on from her Summer Bucket List post. I want to make memories, capture smiles and create artwork. I've written my little list to give me inspiration on what I can (and will aim to) do while we have the time.

Baby's 1st Birthday Wishlist

It's crazy to think that my baby is going to be one in less than 4 weeks. It doesn't seem two minutes since that I was rather heavily pregnant and waiting rather impatiently to meet the little miss. 

This will be the third time I've celebrated a 1st birthday although they never seem to become less emotional. I think I'm looking forward to this birthday quite a lot just because it will be the only day I will ever be able to say "I have 2 one year olds!" 

I have racking my brain, trying to think of things that I would really like for her and finally finished her *my* dream wishlist!

Anyone else a big fan of wooden toys? They are timeless, tough and terrific! Very much loved by all in this household.

I love to look on Amazon often to get ideas for birthdays and Christmas.

Threading Beads - I LOVE threading beads. These help improve hand eye coordination, number recognition and are really cute!




Building Blocks - Building blocks are one of my all time favourite wooden toys. There is so much that can be done with them. Opportunities are endless!

I try to keep negative things on my blog to a minimum. I would much rather talk positive and smile about everything however in light of recent events, I just need somewhere to write.

We bring children in to this world to bring joy and happiness. We teach them how to be good people, to be nice to people. We teach them that if you're nice to others that they'll be nice back.
