2. What was the inspiration behind your name?
'Buttons' is a nickname I was given as a teenager as my coat had a lot of big buttons on it! Such a random thing to stick but I kind of liked it!
3. What made you decide to start blogging?
I wanted a place to write my random thoughts, and since having a child I love talking about being a parent and helping others with my experiences with having a baby. It's also a place for memories with my family so my son can look back at them when he's older.
4. Is blogging a job or a hobby to you?
At the moment it's a hobby, however my maternity finishes in February so I would love for it to become a full time job for me. I'm very passionate about my blog so I'm putting my all into it.
5. Do you think there is any stigma to being a parent blogger?
I don't think it gets as much stigma as other blog genres. The content might not be for everyone but I most definitely love parent bloggers!
6. What is your favourite post you have written? (Please link)

Most recently it would be Post Pregnancy fashion with House of Fraser by This Mama Life. I've really struggled with my looks since giving birth so I love looking at others styles after giving birth to get inspiration! http://thismamalife.com/2016/10/post-pregnancy-fashion-house-fraser/
8. Have you ever had any rude comments from family members or friends about your blog? If so, what?
Not at all! If anything they've supported me throughout. My Dad always makes sure he reads my posts and favourites them. He's even subscribed to my newsletter!
9. Have you ever had any rude comments from a stranger if you've ever mentioned your blog? If so, what?
No never. I've never really brought it up in conversation to a stranger.. but I guess I will do soon if I want it to be my full time job!
10. Do you have any advice to give others starting out?
Go for it. Don't be worried about what people will think. I think it's a great way to write down your experiences from being a parent, it gives you a place to escape to when times get tough!
11. Any final words of wisdom?
Always remember to remain positive and be yourself in all aspects of life. Whatever hurdles come up, you'll get through them, through being a parent and blogging!
