Jacamo Men's Clothing Review

I struggle to find clothes for my partner and usually prefer buying online as he can be pretty impatient in a shopping centre.
Jacamo has everything he could wish for when shopping for some new clothes offering everything from shirts, trousers, coats, shoes and boots amongst other things.
As he works a full time office job, I find that his shirts and shoes seem to wear out quickly so when we were offered a chance to review some Jacamo mens clothing, I jumped at the chance.

His favourite colour is purple, so when he spotted a lovely purple dress shirt that was the first thing in the basket. I quite like the black trimming on the buttons and collar as it adds a little bit of something, giving it something a little quirky.

Also in the basket went the pair of dark blue jeans. Although these are advertised as slim jeans, I would say they are more like chinos as they don't have a denim look. They seem perfect for dressing up for a smart occasion or as everyday jeans.

He takes pride in being a man that isn't afraid of a bit of pink so when I saw think baby pink dress shirt, I couldn't help but add it to the basket. This shirt feels a really good quality, thick shirt that hopefully should last a long while.

Finally, to finish off the look, he added a pair of Ben Sherman desert boots to his basket. I'm not sure how he manages but boots seem to be something he flies through and we've found in the past that desert boots seem to be longer lasting and more hard wearing so work better for him.

I am really impressed with the range of home brand and name branded clothes that Jacamo stock and I'm sure you will be too.

Now we've had a model, I am sure he will be wearing them plenty for work!

Alternatives to Plastic Straws

Everywhere I look, the focus is on plastic straws. More so, the future lack of plastic straws.
Just like many, I never really thought too much about how plastic straws can damage the environment up until recently when it was brought to my attention by the UK Government and their mission to cut down on single use plastics.

We use a lot of straws in our house as all of the girls drink from open topped beakers usually so they help with spillages and ease. After doing a little bit of research into what other alternatives there are about, I found that there were actually some really good options.

Firstly, you have the option of paper straws

For those who like the ease of a disposable straw, paper is the future! These would be ideal for BBQ's and kids parties.

There weren't many disposable options but I found 4 reusable options that are really worth looking into for this big change.

Secondly, there are Metal Straws

These straws are £6.99 for 8 and I found to be one of the better options of reusable straws.

Thirdly, Silicone Straws

These silicone straws came top of my list on child friendly choices. They're probably the closest option to plastic straws while reducing one use plastics. These were 6 for £5.99.

Or how about Glass Straws?

Probably my least favourite option, mainly for the practicality. These would probably be great for adults although one of the more expensive choices. They are £9.50 for 4.

Finally, Bamboo Straws

The good thing about bamboo straws is that they are 100% organic and biodegradable. They can be used in hot ad cold drinks and seem to be a really good alternative to plastic. These were £6.95 for 6.

For our family, I think the practicality of the silicone straws would be our best option (and they're colourful!)
We have a long way to go but they are a step in the right direction for our mission to reduce our household plastic.
